Most vectorizer extensions only do a blind right-click download. Vectorise.Me lets you preview first, and it still handles images, screenshots, CSS backgrounds and anything else you can see.
Right-click an image

No. Install it and start capturing straight away. If you later choose Pro, that uses your normal site account — the extension itself does not require a sign-in step.
Only the single image or the single region you select, at the moment you ask for a conversion. The extension never uploads the page itself, never reads your browsing history, and never monitors your clipboard in the background.
No. Images are processed and then deleted. They are not retained and are not used to train or improve any model.
It does not limit conversions — those stay unlimited and free. The panel download is a convenience shortcut; after three in a day the button takes you to vectorise.me, where downloading is still free and unlimited. Pro removes the shortcut limit.
activeTab and scripting so it can read the page only after you click a capture button; contextMenus for the right-click entry; sidePanel for the panel itself; storage for your preferences and local history; and access to vectorise.me so conversions and your plan status work. It never requests access to all websites.
It is not rasterised and retraced. The extension detects that it is already a vector and offers the original — cleaned and sanitised — so you keep full quality.
